What information do we collect?

We retain basic contact information along with all pertinent order information. We typically keep a record of the information you provide us when you place an order, email, call or fax us. This helps us process and track your orders along with providing you with a more personalized experience for future orders. Please note that we only retain the last 4-digits of a credit card number. The remaining numbers are truncated at the time of order placement. We do not have access at any time to your entire card number or the rest of your credit card information.

We will never share, sell, or rent individual personal information with anyone for their promotional use without your advance permission or unless ordered by a court of law. We do share your shipping information with our product suppliers and shipping companies only to facilitate the delivery of your orders.

Information submitted to us is only available to employees managing this information for purposes of contacting you or sending you emails based on your request for information, and to contracted service providers for purposes of providing services relating to our communications with you.

At Flex-A-Chart.com we use 256-bit Secure Sockets Layering (SSL) to encrypt your credit card information before it goes out over the Internet. SSL technology is the industry standard for secure online transactions. SSL makes ordering from Flex-A-Chart.com a safe and secure shopping experience.

Changes to our policy

We reserve the right to modify our privacy statement at any time, so please review it frequently. We will post any changes here, on our homepage and in other appropriate places so you'll always know what information we collect, how we use it, and under what circumstances we share it. If we make material changes to our policy, we will notify you here, by email or by posting a notice on our homepage or web log.

CANCELLATION POLICY

Once an order is placed, the customer has 24 business hours to cancel the order on stock units. This doesn't apply to rush orders. Once the cancellation deadline has passed, and the order is processed, the order can only be cancelled if the factory has not shipped your order on stock items. In the case of custom-built products, we cannot cancel the order. Please call with any questions. 901-476-0044. Note: In the case of orders that have already been processed, a cancellation fee of 5% of the subtotal may apply to the order.

LEAD TIMES

General lead time on stock items are typical five to seven business days. Custom items, including made to order products, generally take two to three weeks for shipping. These are typical lead times and will vary depending on peak seasons and unforeseen circumstances. Flex-A-Chart has the right to modify these lead times at any time. Please call to verify any and all lead times for the product you are interested in if there is any concern. 

RETURN POLICY

IF YOU HAVE TO RETURN THE ITEM(S) FOR ANY REASONS EXCEPT " DAMAGED AND REFUSED " IN SHIPPING AND ANY CUSTOM MADE PRODUCTS. WE HAVE A 25% RESTOCKING FEE CHARGE PLUS THE COST OF THE FREIGHT (BOTH WAYS). RETURNS MUST BE MADE WITHIN 30 DAYS OF RECEIVING THE ORDER (IN-STOCK AND NON-CUSTOM ORDERS ONLY)

Merchandise must be in original crating and/or packaging or repackaged in a manner to protect the product during shipment. All returned items must be in 100% resalable condition. The return authorization number should be visible on all packages and on the freight bill.

Many of our items, even though cataloged, are custom made to order. This includes but is not limited to :custom sized magnetic and non-magnetic boards, skins, unframed boards, sliding boards, custom cut boards, altered boards of any type and cabinets. These items are NON RETURNABLE and NON REFUNDABLE.

Any non-defective merchandise that is returned collect will be refused and the customer will be responsible for charges incurred.

RECEIVING INSTRUCTIONS AND DAMAGE CLAIM POLICY

Damages during transit are common when transporting whiteboards or chalkboards. However, you can do your part to help prevent it and we will be happy to replace any display board DAMAGED DURING SHIPPING AND REFUSED UPON DELIVERY. Call us and we will place a new order for you at no extra charge.

SIMPLY SIGN FOR THE BOARDS: “DAMAGED AND REFUSED” on the delivery ticket and have driver take back to their terminal.

MANY OF OUR BOARDS ARE LARGE, BULKY & MOST TIMES VERY HEAVY. A DELIVERY DRIVER WILL NEED ASSISTANCE OR YOU WILL GET DAMAGES! MAKE SURE YOU HAVE ENOUGH MAN POWER TO EXCEPT DELIVERY AND BRING INTO YOUR BUILDING. IF YOU ARE NOT SURE OF THE WEIGHT JUST CALL US.

MOST IMPORTANTLY MAKE SURE THE ITEMS WILL FIT THROUGH DOORWAYS, UP STAIRWAYS AND IN ELEVATORS IF NEED BE.

The trucking company is ONLY responsible for taking the freight to the back of their truck. It is your responsibility to take the freight into the building. Your freight charges billed through the FLEX-A-CHART ONLY cover you to this point. If you request INSIDE DELIVERY ( inside door of building only not into your office, up stairs, in elevators etc., is an additional charge from the trucking company and you are 100% responsible for these charges regardless of the size of your order. You can request inside delivery when you place your order and we will make note on your shipment. Additional charges will apply.

If your shipment is delivered by UPS they will bring your shipment inside.

NEVER SIGN FOR ANY PACKAGE BEFORE YOU INSPECT IT. YOU MUST LOOK AT THE PACKAGE TO SEE IF THERE IS ANY DAMAGE. WE HIGHLY RECOMMEND OPENING EACH PACKAGE AND INSPECT IT FULLY. IF ITEMS ARE FOUND TO HAVE DAMAGE JUST REFUSE THE FREIGHT AND CALL US. We can at that time make a new order for you. Once the driver leaves it is TOO LATE and it becomes YOUR responsibility to file a claim. Call the trucking terminal immediately for instructions.

IF ANY DAMAGE IS FOUND TO THE OUTSIDE PACKAGING IT IS BEST TO OPEN THE PACKAGE AT THAT TIME TO SEE IF THE CONTENTS ARE DAMAGED. IF YOU DON'T OPEN THE PACKAGE YOU MUST NOTE ANY DAMAGES TO THE PACKAGES ON THE BILL OF LADING or RECEIVING SLIP AS FOLLOWS:

"Damage to Package, Contents May be Harmed" and note any obvious damages found, the total number of damaged packages and description of the damage such as “hole in side” , “ truck driver would not wait for inspection" & have driver sign all copies and also print his name so you can read it.

PICTURES OF DAMAGE WILL IN MOST CASES HELP WHEN FILING A CLAIM

ALL CLAIMS FOR DAMAGED GOODS DURING SHIPPING MUST BE MADE WITH THE TRUCKING COMPANY NOT FLEX-A-CHART. USUALLY WITHIN 14 DAYS OF DELIVERY! THE FREIGHT COMPANIES MAY HAVE DIFFERENT DEADLINES.

IF YOU HAVE REFUSED SHIPMENT BECAUSE OF DAMAGES, IMMEDIATELY FAX A COPY OF THE BILL OF LADING NOTING THE DAMAGES AND DRIVER SIGNATURE TO US AT 901-476-4476. The trucking company may take up to two weeks to notify us and you want to get a replacement order going as soon as possible.

AFTER SIGNING FOR THE SHIPMENT IT IS YOURS. IF CONCEALED DAMAGE IS FOUND AT A LATER DATE IT BECOMES YOUR RESPONSIBILITY TO FILE THE CLAIM WITH THE CARRIER. A NEW BOARD WILL BE SENT TO YOU BUT AT REGULAR PRICES PLUS SHIPPING (BOTH WAYS).

SHIPPING CHARGES

ALL ORDERS HAVE SHIPPING CHARGES. WHEN PLACING A QUOTE ONLINE YOU WILL BE CONTACTED BY EMAIL AND GIVEN THE BEST SHIPPING RATE WE CAN FIND. IF YOU BELIEVE THE SHIPPING RATE PROVIDED IS MORE THAN WHAT IT SHOULD BE, CONTACT US BY PHONE OR EMAIL AND WE WILL SEE WHAT WE CAN DO FOR YOU.

PLEASE NOTE: YOUR CARD WILL BE CHARGED AS FLEX-A-CHART MFG. THE CARD WILL BE CHARGED WHEN THE PRODUCT IS INVOICED TO OUR FACTORY FOR PRODUCTION/SHIPPING.

We do accept Purchase Orders from pre-approved organizations, such as schools, hospitals, government, or large businesses.

We accept Visa, Master card, American Express and Discover. Payment method is credit card or company check. In the event that a check order is accepted, the terms are as follows: PAYMENT IS DUE AT THE TIME THE ORDER IS PLACED UNLESS OTHER ARRANGEMENTS HAVE BEEN MADE WITH FLEX-A-CHART.

MISCELLANEOUS INFORMATION

Flex-A-Chart cannot be responsible for any typographical errors on the website. Please contact us if you find any errors or misspellings. Regarding any and all orders/quotes, we will send a confirmation via email or fax of the order/quote. It is the customer's responsibility to check this confirmation for any incorrect data. There is a possibility for an order to be on hold for reasons such as unusually high shipping, missing color choices. This includes, but is not limited to: Addresses, Product information, modification notes, sizes, color, etc. Please note that all sizes referenced on the Flex-A-Chart web site would be perceived as overall dimension, and standard as Height x Width x Depth.

In addition, Flex-A-Chart cannot be held responsible for any loss of time or money caused by unforeseen delays or circumstances, because there some aspects of delivery that cannot be controlled by Flex-A-Chart.

Please Note: If color match is critical, we recommend requesting actual samples when making a decision on the color.
Even with actual samples, we cannot guarantee exact duplication, variations in color can be expected.
